Product Selection & Recommendation
The goal is not simply to find a product. The goal is to find a product that meets the client's requirements, budget, branding needs, quantity, and deadline.
Before recommending a product, identify:
- What is the product being used for?
- Who will receive it?
- How many are needed?
- What is the target budget?
- What is the required in-hands date?
- Where will the products be shipped?
- What logo or artwork needs to be applied?
- How many imprint locations are needed?
- Are there required colors, sizes, materials, or brands?
- Does the client have a specific product in mind?
Product Recommendation Framework
Client Requirement โ Product Type โ Supplier โ Availability โ Decoration โ Price โ Lead Time โ Shipping โ Final Recommendation
Example
Client Request:
โWe need 150 branded water bottles for an employee event.โ
Before recommending a bottle, check:
- Quantity: 150
- Budget per piece
- Bottle size
- Material
- Preferred color
- Logo requirements
- Decoration method
- Supplier inventory
- Production time
- Shipping location
- In-hands date
Key Rule
Never recommend a product based on price alone.
A cheaper product that cannot arrive on time is not a suitable solution.

When presenting multiple products, compare the options using the same criteria.
